Advantages of Flat Weft Hair Extensions

Discrete and Natural Appearance: Flat wefts lay flat against the scalp, making them less visible and providing a more natural look. This makes them ideal for creating a seamless blend with natural hair.

Comfort: Due to their flat and thin construction, flat wefts are lightweight and comfortable to wear. They don’t create bulk, which can make them feel more natural and less cumbersome.

Versatility in Styling: Flat wefts can be styled just like natural hair. They can be curled, straightened, and even colored, offering a lot of flexibility in terms of hairstyles.

Less Damage: Flat wefts distribute weight more evenly across the scalp, reducing the tension and stress on natural hair. This minimizes the risk of damage compared to other types of extensions that may concentrate weight and stress on small sections of hair.

Durability: When properly cared for, flat wefts can last a long time. They are typically sewn into the hair, which provides a secure attachment that can withstand everyday activities.

Customizable: Flat wefts can be cut and tailored to fit specific areas of the head. This customization allows for a more precise and natural integration with natural hair.

Suitable for Various Hair Types: Flat wefts work well with various hair types, including fine, medium, and thick hair. They can be adjusted to suit the volume and texture of the natural hair.

How To Install

Measure and Cut Weft: Measure the flat weft to fit the width of the braided track and cut it to the appropriate length.

Sew the Weft: Thread the needle and tie a knot at the end. Starting at one end of the braid, sew the weft onto the braid using a looping stitch. Ensure each stitch is tight and secure. Continue sewing along the braid until the entire weft is attached.

Secure the Ends: Once you reach the other end, tie off the thread securely to ensure the weft stays in place.

Repeat: Continue with Sections: Move up your head in sections, creating new partings, braids, and attaching wefts until the desired fullness and length are achieved. Make sure each new section is about 1-2 inches above the previous one to ensure even distribution and natural blending.

Blending and Styling: Blend the Extensions: Once all the wefts are in place, trim and style the extensions to blend them with your natural hair. This may involve cutting layers or blending the ends to match your haircut.

Professional Help: If you're new to installing tape-in extensions, consider having them applied by a professional stylist for the best results.
