Before 2009, Better Hair was just a hair extension processing workshop. As business expands, we expanded the scale and began to collect raw materials and start integrated production under the request of customers.
In the process, we recognized the irregularity and lack of regulation in this industry and many customers have lost their brand reputation and the courage to continue hair business.
Just because we are aware of these unfair and irregular situations, we pay more attention to ethical sourcing, production transparency, product quality stability and brand reputation.

Our Raw Materials Collection
Collection of raw materials：
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an incredibly important priority for us at Better Hair.
Better Hair factory only sources virgin hair braids from southwest China and Mongolia. And ensure 100% ethically sourced traceable human hair. All of our braid is voluntarily donated and/or sold for fair compensation.
Chinese virgin hair raw materials are the most common raw material used in our factory. In fact, Chinese hair is also the most widely used in the high-end hair extension market and with good quality. Good Chinese hair is thicker and heavier than European hair and Indian hair and is very durable and also easy to shape.
Raw material screening：
After the raw materials are collected, Masters with 30 years of working experience select hair raw materials again, and we only keep the best hair braids.
Final screening: The warehouse management will classify the hair into 3 grades according to the hair color, thickness, luster, etc. Later, different raw materials will be used according to specific order requirements.
Production Transparency
Better Hair has always been committed to transparent production and sustainable production and takes action.
1. Data sharing
We are willing to share the order process, quality inspection, and every step of processing through videos and pictures to clearly let you know the progress of your order.Feedback on production progress once every three days.
2. Standardized process(SOP)
All orders follow our “24-step” standard operating process to ensure the color consistency of weight consistency of every product.
3. Ethical sourcing
All raw materials are ethically sourced and traceable, we only collect healthy virgin hair braids. We protect the human rights and dignity of donors/sellers of braids and protect the environment.
4. Product production process sharing
We will often share product production and processes on social media (Ins, Facebook, Youtube), please follow our social media for more information.
5.Production employees
We respect and appreciate the efforts of every B H staff and ensure standard working hours, adequate meals, remuneration, rest and other vacation time. Most of our employees have ten years of work experience and a very low turnover rate because of these foundations as support for trust.

Before our inventory put into storage or customized orders are shipped, our quality inspection team will conduct strict quality inspections from ten aspects to ensure the stability of product quality.

8.Hair quality checking（Check hair breakage, dryness and test the flexibility of hair in water, whether the hair is strong and the effect of cuticles (there is obvious resistance when touched by hand)）
9.Hair loss washing testing（Rub the product in water and wash it 8-10 times to check if there is a risk of hair loss）
10.Hair washing testing（Test the product for tangles by washing it 15 times with tap water and shampoo.）
